About the Scholarship / Ynghylch yr Ysgoloriaeth

This scholarship offers three Welsh-based or Welsh-speaking songwriters the chance to spend four days at the world-famous Rockfield Studios — collaborating, co-writing and recording with leading producers and artists.

Each place includes full board and accommodation at Rockfield Studios, access to all five writing rooms and professional recording facilities, plus travel support of up to £50 for successful applicants.

Mae’r ysgoloriaeth hon yn cynnig cyfle i dri chyfansoddwr sy’n byw yng Nghymru neu’n siarad Cymraeg dreulio pedwar diwrnod yn Stiwdios Rockfield enwog ledled y byd — cydweithio, cyfansoddi a recordio gyda chynhyrchwyr ac artistiaid blaenllaw.

Mae pob lle’n cynnwys llety a bwyd llawn yn Stiwdios Rockfield, ynghyd â mynediad i bum ystafell ysgrifennu a chyfleusterau recordio proffesiynol, ac mae cymorth teithio hyd at £50 ar gael i ymgeiswyr llwyddiannus.

  • Welsh-based or Welsh-speaking songwriters

  • Over 18 years old by 10 March 2026

  • Able to commit to attending the full retreat at Rockfield Studios

Selection Process / Y Broses Ddethol

A shortlist of applicants will be made in early January 2026, and shortlisted candidates will be invited to a brief phone interview before final selections are made. The successful applicants will be notified by the 31st January 2026.
